Tree House

Yossri Daydban actively searches for clarity about identity and new notions of citizenry. Conceived and produced for this exhibition, Tree House discusses his approach to the self which directly relates to a home he created during his residency in Detroit, one that is not defined by geography, but rather by a community. The work emphasizes his relationship with his current place of residence, where the community brought together under one floor is felt.
